one of two purchased by Santa Cruz County on a Federal Grant and

It has been equipped with radios and code equipment, advanced life support medical equipment, and some basic firefighting gear for rapid response to all types of calls. 819 can also be used as an incident command vehicle.

Rescue 830.5. 830
point 5 is used for rodeo, dressage, county fair and other
events by EMS or Prevention and Public Education teams. It was recently
donated to the department. Our crews overhauled it and set it up
for public event use. The cart keeps a Rescue truck from being tied
up all day on public events and it is definitely safer in confined
public areas. It has a BLS bag, oxygen, a long spine board and a
rehab cooler stocked with water. |
